I Became a Tentacle Monster that Corrupts Magical Girls

Afterword + Season 2 Teaser

Hello everyone, I'm tentacle_master. Thank you for reading I Became a Tentacle Monster that Corrupts Magical Girls.

This is my first attempt at writing a web novel. I didn't expect it to take so much time and effort just to pump out a short chapter with a coherent story.

Guess I will stop complaining about my favorite authors being slow from now.

The story turned out to be longer than what I originally had in mind. During the writing, I start feeling the bonding with every member of The Fallen Stars: Miki, Aoi, Akane, Homura, and my favourite Chiyoko. (And no, marrying Chiyoko doesn't mean our MC will stop doing naughty stuff with other girls in the harem, no worry.)

I hope you feel the same, or at least find this book good enough for entertainment, and didn't waste the time you spent on it.

Regarding the story, the first season ended here.

But as the Author said, there were still so many loose ends until Chiyoko's child was born. I have completed the outline for Season 2, but I will take a short (or long) break before we continue.

(And yes, please leave some comments and reviews. It would greatly inspire me to start working on the next season.)

As promised, here is the teaser for Season 2: Stronger enemies, higher stakes, and more "power-up" and fights, of course.

I Became a Tentacle Monster that Corrupts Magical Girls - Season 2 Teaser

Life got nuts after the wedding. It has been about one month since that day, when Aoi and Miki said they would give us a "newlywed gift".

A huge chunk of the money from their albums and concerts went into getting us out of my crappy apartment. We were now living in a sprawling, luxurious penthouse, big enough for all of us, including our five resident ghost-maids.

Chiyoko's little baby bump was becoming more obvious, a constant, happy reminder that our weird family was still growing.

By day, Miki and Aoi were conquering the music world. By night, The Fallen Stars were the city's silent, ruthlessly efficient guardians. For the first time, things felt stable. Peaceful, even.

Which, of course, is when it all went to hell.

I was lounging on the new, ridiculously comfortable sofa when Aoi walked in, her face grim. She was holding a single, ornate, black envelope.

"Master," she said, her voice tight. "This just arrived. It didn't come by mail. It just… appeared on the doorstep."

She handed it to me. The paper felt old and heavy, sealed with a weird wax emblem of a balanced scale and a magical staff.

I broke the seal and pulled out a single piece of parchment. The words were written in a shimmering, silver ink.

By Decree of the Magical Girl Alliance, Inter-City Council

To the unsanctioned unit, The Fallen Stars:

We have noted that the official magical girl team of your city, the Aegis of Light, has been removed and replaced.

Your faction now holds dominion. This is an unacceptable breach of protocol.

You are hereby summoned to participate in the centennial Twilight Tournament, a contest to determine the premier magical girl team in the nation.

Your participation is not optional.

The Prize: Official recognition, immense resources, and one boon of your choosing granted by the Council.

The Penalty: Failure to participate will result in your faction being branded a rogue dark unit. A nationwide kill-on-sight order will be issued to all Alliance-affiliated magical girls.

The fate of your city's former team is also tied to your compliance. They will be brought before the Council for judgment.

The tournament begins in one month. Acknowledge your participation within 24 hours.

I read it twice. It was a perfectly sprung trap.

The shadowy organization that runs the whole magical girl show had finally noticed us.

And they had just put a gun to my entire family's heads.
