One Piece: Silent-Silent Fruit

Chapter 348 - 20: Someone Just Said the Same Thing... But They’re All Lying on the Ground Now. Do You Want to Join Them?

"Tsubasa!"

The moment they saw Rosinante appear, both Hashirama and Madara cried out in delight.

Rosinante walked over slowly.

The soldiers around him unconsciously made way, parting to either side on their own.

Because of that, Rosinante reached Hashirama and Madara with ease.

Under Rosinante's gaze, Hashirama lowered his head.

After all, he was still young, and his temperament had always been like this.

Madara, on the other hand, simply turned his head aside with a cold snort.

"Madara said... we can't let people look down on us..." Hashirama suddenly muttered in defense, still hanging his head.

"Idiot! You were the one who said staying there was too boring!" Madara snapped angrily, glaring at Hashirama.

"Enough," Rosinante said flatly. "You two have had your fun. It's time for us to leave. My business here is already done."

As he spoke, he extended a hand and pressed one finger against Hashirama's wound.

In an instant, the injury on Hashirama's body vanished at a speed visible to the naked eye.

"Huh?!"

Hashirama blinked, then patted the place where he had been stabbed.

"It's gone! That's incredible!"

"It's only a temporary fix," Rosinante said. "I just dealt with it for the moment. Let's go."

"Bastard! Don't think you're leaving!"

A furious shout suddenly rang out from the surrounding samurai.

Rosinante turned and looked sharply toward the man who had spoken.

In that instant, wave after wave of tyrannical pressure crashed down on him.

The samurai who had shouted instantly broke into a cold sweat.

His clothes were soaked through in moments.

His face turned pale with terror, as if he had just suffered the fright of his life.

"Someone else said the same thing just now," Rosinante said calmly. "But they all fell. Do you want to go join them too?"

The moment those words fell, everyone present instinctively glanced at one another.

No one dared answer.

At that moment, Rosinante placed a hand on both Hashirama and Madara once more.

The next second, both of them floated into the air.

"Move," Rosinante said.

And as soon as the word left his mouth, the three of them shot skyward at astonishing speed.

"Archers!"

Someone immediately shouted the command.

At once, rows of archers raised their bows and fired toward Rosinante and the others.

"Cut!"

Rosinante's voice rang out from the sky.

Then, countless tiny slashes rained downward.

The power of each individual slash wasn't especially great—

But together, they swept through the air like blades of wind, knocking every arrow from the sky.

By the time everyone looked up again—

Rosinante and the other two had already vanished from sight.

"Chase them! Chase them! We absolutely cannot let them get away!"

Someone among the samurai roared.

And so the soldiers were mobilized, rushing out in all directions to search for the three of them.

But everyone knew...

It was pointless.

How was anyone on the ground supposed to catch people who could fly?

And even if they somehow did catch up...

How were they supposed to defeat people who could fly?

Using silenced gravity, Rosinante carried the three of them through the sky, crossing out of Fujimitsu territory before finally landing in a small mountain valley.

"Let's rest here for a bit," Rosinante said, breathing a little harder than before. "Even if there are pursuers, they won't be able to catch up to us here."

At the end of the day, his body was still too weak.

And his chakra reserves were still too small.

After this much expenditure, he was nearly running on empty.

"Hey... you alright?" Madara asked, looking at him.

"Yeah, Tsubasa, you don't look too good," Hashirama added with concern.

"I'm fine," Rosinante said. "A little rest and I'll recover. We should deal with your wound first."

"My wound?" Hashirama blinked. "Didn't you already heal it? Right, Tsubasa, your ability is amazing! You just touched me, and my injury disappeared instantly!"

Madara also nodded in agreement, looking at Rosinante with obvious curiosity.

"Your injury wasn't actually healed," Rosinante explained. "I only silenced it temporarily. It didn't truly disappear. The moment I release the ability, the wound will return."

"Ohhh... so that's how it works."

Hashirama nodded, then wrapped up the wound properly with bandages.

After that, Rosinante released the silenced injury.

As expected, the wound immediately reappeared on Hashirama's body.

Hashirama stared at it in fascination, poking and examining it, unable to understand how it had vanished one moment and returned the next.

After resting for a while, Rosinante once again used silenced gravity to carry the two of them back.

In the end, the three of them returned to the riverside where they had first met.

"What are you two planning to do next?" Rosinante asked. "Head back on your own, or come with me to the Saito household?"

"It's too late," Hashirama said. "I need to go home first. Otherwise my family will worry."

"Same here," Madara said.

"Then we'll part ways for now," Rosinante said. "If I have time later, I'll come here every two or three days and grill fish for you two."

"Deal!"

Hashirama and Madara answered at the same time.

Then the three of them exchanged a final nod, chose their respective directions, and each went their own way.

Afterward, Rosinante returned to the Saito household carrying General Fujimitsu's severed head.

The entire Saito household was instantly thrown into an uproar.

Soon, word spread from the Saito domain:

Rosinante had gone alone into Fujimitsu territory, stormed straight into the General's Residence, beheaded General Fujimitsu in full view of everyone...

And then walked out openly, right under their noses.

That one act sent shockwaves through the entire Saito household—

And through every nearby power in the region.
