Chapter 353: Carefree Bride
Just before Uncle Liam leaves her office, Irina appears and tells her that lunch is ready. She immediately went to the dining table. Mel was surprised when she saw many foods neatly arranged on the dining table.
Did Irina think she could eat five people’s portions in one meal? She’s not a pig, alright!
"Irina, eat with me...." Of course, she wasn’t going to eat all this lunch alone. She needed a friend. And after asking Irina to accompany her to lunch, she instructs Max to call Anna and Amy. She prays her two best friends have not yet gone outside for lunch.
It didn’t take long, Amy and Anna came.
"Boss... I thought you weren’t coming to the office. If we knew you would come, I would have arranged lunch at Double Six Club. We haven’t been there in a long time..." Anna said.
"At first, I didn’t intend to come here, but because I had business with my uncle, so I came," Mel said and asked them all to sit down and start eating. She felt hungry now.
They all sat and started to eat.
"Boss... how is your wedding preparation? Are you experiencing stress from taking care of all your wedding matters?" Anna is curious.
Because some of her college friends who are married are experiencing stress before the wedding day. She also reads many articles that say pressure before the wedding day sometimes makes the bride and groom experience conflict, and some even cancel the wedding.
