Chapter 338: Strong Evidence
"After the lab results came out this afternoon. The result left me even more confused. There is nothing strange in that vile guy’s body. There’s no indication of poison either." Alex took a deep sigh before continuing, "Now, how can we prosecute him if we don’t have solid evidence that he’s connected to the BW7 case!?"
He felt annoyed after they caught such a dangerous criminal. They could not punish him because he is getting sick, and there’s no strong evidence either.
Andrew also felt what Alex felt. He was outraged to hear about Zack’s condition.
"Wait!!" Mel, who had been silent for a long time, finally spoke. They both look at her. "So, if that scumbag is in such a sick condition, he can’t be prosecuted?" She was furious now.
How can that be?
"Yes," Alex replied to her.
"This... can’t be right..." Mel doesn’t believe Alex. So she asked Andrew, and he answered her with a nod.
"But, he has a lot of cases where he can be punished, right?" Mel simply couldn’t believe that someone as evil as Zack was released.
"For other cases, yes. We also have evidence. But for the involvement in the BW7 case, we don’t have any." Alex explained patiently to Mel, who looked annoyed. "Don’t worry sister in law. Although Zack is already in front of the gates of hell, he will be punished for all his crimes."
