Chapter 325: New talent
"Mel, wait..." Mario runs after her. "Where is your car? I didn’t see any cars parked along the way?"
She slowed down to wait for him before asking, "Did you use your Smart Contact Lense?" Mel whispers. In XTeam, no one knows about her SCL, only Mario.
"No. Before we received this assignment, we were in training. And suddenly the commander asked me to come here, so I didn’t have time to bring it." Now, he really regrets not using his SCL all the time. He thought it would be cheating if he used them when they were training. But this accident made him realize that the SCL is really important, and he has to use it all the time.
Mel was speechless hearing Mario. She ignored him and waited for her car near the entrance. She already instructs Max to bring her smart car to enter this base camp and park in a safe place in mirage mode.
"Brother... you can handle everything here, right?" Mario nods. "Good. I have to go back to J city soon. You know, my husband will arrive in a few hours. I need to prepare myself to receive him."
