"Husband, I’m sorry..." Her voice sounded so low. She looked down, unable to meet her husband’s eyes. "Zack killed my mother. He will not stop until he succeeds in killing me."
Andrew’s face darkened again when he heard her words and saw the look in his wife’s eyes filled with anger and revenge.
Mel continued, "So before he does that, I will kill him first. Well, don’t worry... I will not really kill him, but I have my way to torture his life. I just need your help to clean my mess here..." Her voice trembled, and her eyes were blurry. She was about to cry.
Andrew touched his temple while sighing deeply. Right now, he couldn’t stop her. He knows his wife’s character. What she wants...she will pursue it until she gets it.
"Wife, please look at me...huh?" Andrew calls her with her gentle voice, trying to coax her to buy time for the XTeam member to get there before she takes action.
He continued his word when their eyes met, "I agree with you to finish him. I won’t stop you." Mel’s eyes light up. "But.. can you halt for a moment. Because the XTeam member is 15 minutes away from you. They are now on duty in city B. Wait for them before you take action... Can you do it?"
Mel was taken aback when she heard that X Team members were in town B. Really?
Was this just her husband’s trick?
"So wait in the car. They will help you to clean up Zack. I hear from Alex, they are already eyeing Zack. So, let them take care of him...." Andrew’s voice sounded gentle and made her a little bit calm. Bit by bit, her anger, which enveloped her heart and mind, slowly disappeared. But she still can’t say anything. She just stares at him.
