Chapter 297: Maggie Now Knows
"Maggie, Amy... have you guys got the dress you will be wearing for the wedding? If you haven’t, let me make one for you...." Cassandra immediately ignored Mel and discussed the dress with the others. She panicked a little because their time was short. It wasn’t even two months before her best friend would get married. Makes her feel happy and panicked at the same time. Worried they couldn’t make a stunning dress for Mel’s big day.
Mel chuckled, looking at the three of them, now completely ignoring her. She enjoys her dessert alone while overhearing their discussion about dresses.
But, not long after, Maggie asked Mel who the husband was. Maggie only knew from her brother that Mel is currently married, but he didn’t tell her anything about Mel’s husband.
Cass, who was excitedly chatting with Amy, suddenly stopped and looked at Mel... "Yes, yes, please tell us. Who can finally melt and conquer your icy heart? Do we know him? Is he a public figure or a businessman?"
"Cass, you don’t know him." Mel then looked at Maggie before saying, "I think you know who he is, Mag...."
"Really?" Maggie raises her eye-brown curiously. "WHO?"
Maggie must know Andrew. Because Andrew was considered their own family for saving Brother Simon’s life, "One of your brother’s best friends...." Mel said.
Maggie tried to remember who her brother’s best friends were. All she knows is that her brother doesn’t have many friends... but he does have one friend whom he considers like family, Brother Andrew.
Maggie froze when brother Andrew flashed in her mind. Her eyes widened as she looked at Mel.
