Andrew returned to the bedroom after midnight. He stood still looking at his wife, who was sleeping soundly in bed with her angelic face.
He quietly sat on the side of the bed while trying to fix her messy hair. Then, he kisses her forehead gently before going to the bathroom to clean up. A few minutes later, he finished. And climbing to bed then lay beside her.
After making sure his wife was in her deep sleep, he pulled her into his arms and kissed her forehead gently. He felt his raging heart and mind slightly calmer.
"My wife... today I feel scared. Scared to lose you." He took a deep sigh before continuing, "What should I do? Your face is too beautiful, and the way you speak is too charming that will make many men out there glance at you. Even a crown prince fell in love with you." He whispers in her ear, feeling annoyed.
Knowing Simon likes his wife makes him want to immediately tell the world that Melanie Tanner is his wife. But how could he do that while his wife was still worried about Ghost?
His mind is working fast to make a new plan to move ahead from XTeam to catch people who know her identity.
So far, he had not interfered with Alex’s mission too much; He had only given him information without participating in their operation. But now, he started to think about the possibility of sending his people directly to get more involved.
Andrew closes his eyes before making sure he will make a call tomorrow to his team.
