When Mel got out of the car, she saw the main gate of the luxury apartment where she lived as a child with her mother. They only lived here a few months. No memory was left in her mind about this apartment. She immediately went inside, and a middle-aged aunty greeted her when she entered. Mel was surprised because she was the maid who used to clean their house.
After greeting her, Mel received a card key to go upstairs, after the aunty excused herself. She didn’t accompany Mel upstairs because Mel really wanted to be alone to see the apartment.
She went up to the top floor with Irina, who was waiting for her outside the apartment. Mel went in alone, and she felt strange being there. All living room furniture is covered with a white cloth.
She went straight to her mother’s room, she saw the same thing, all the furniture was covered with a white cloth.
Not long after, she headed to her mother’s study and looked for what she was looking for; a laptop and all her mother’s gadgets that she could bring. She also opened her mother’s safe deposit box. When she saw the contents of the safe, she was stunned because she found a lot of money, jewelry, securities, and other documents. She took all the things for her to examine later.
She was in her mother’s apartment for less than an hour, she came out with a medium suitcase. Mel and Irina immediately left the apartment and headed for the hotel.
They decided to have lunch at the hotel, after which they flew straight to Royal City. And precisely at 5 PM when their jet landed at Royal City private airport.
Mel was surprised to see her husband was waiting for her at the bottom of the stairs. She immediately ran downstairs and threw herself at him. She misses him so much. After they officially married, this was the first time they separated. Even for only one night, it doesn’t feel good.
