Chapter 285: Mortal Enemy
"Wife, so tomorrow you will see Stefan again?" Andrew asks her. Actually, he already knew his wife’s plan, but he was never satisfied. Andrew always wanted to make his wife talk to him about anything. He misses her voice and touch. This is the first time they have stayed apart after officially getting married.
"Hmm, tomorrow morning. After that, I will go to my mother’s apartment. I want to take mom’s laptop, cell phone, or important things that my mother left behind. Maybe there’s a trace of a clue left by Vivian or Zack..." After Mel finished her sentence, her body instantly froze when she realized She hadn’t taken Andrew to her mother’s grave yet. She feels terrible now.
"Alright, make sure tomorrow everything is okay and come back here right away. What time do you have to go back to the royal city?"
"Andrew.... " Her voice sounded trembling like she was holding her tears.
Andrew’s heart tightened when he saw her eyes slightly red, "What is my love..? Why do you suddenly feel sad?"
"I’m sorry... I haven’t brought you to meet my mother..." How could she forget about that? After so many things happened in the past few months, she completely ignored the first thing she must do after engaging with him.
Andrew smiles at her "Wife, I understand why you forget. Don’t worry about that. We can go to meet our mother once we land at J, alright?"
Mel nods and wipes her tears. She feels better about her husband’s understanding.
"My Wife, tomorrow, make sure all your business finishes over there. Or else, I’ll fly there..." He said in his serious tone.
