Chapter 283: Help Me
Mel’s question confused Uncle Silayev. He explained to her the CCTV footage he obtained directly from the traffic police station. He was sure no one altered the video.
Mel was disappointed to hear that. She asked permission to copy the CCTV footage. From it, Mel will check in detail whether the video is really unedited. She wanted to prove that her dream was true not because of her subconscious delusion that someone else had arrived at the scene before Uncle Silayev arrived.

Mel and Stefan came out of Uncle Silayev’s study. She didn’t see Lara and Irina in the living room. It seemed they were waiting for her in the car. Mel decided to have a private chat with Stefan before she left for the hotel.
"Sister Mel, how could you have deceived me the last time we met at J?" Stefan asked her in a sulking tone. He had wanted to take his anger out on Mel for a long time, but he didn’t have the chance. And now is a perfect time, when his father and bodyguard Mel are not with them.
Mel chuckled, seeing Stefan pout. He looks like a 6-year-old who used to ask her questions. Mel had totally ignored him then because she did not understand what the boy was asking. At the time, she didn’t speak or understand Russian yet.
She was amazed at the way God brought them together again after a long time apart. Her reunion with Stefan through the Hacker Community seemed unreal. She never imagined she would meet Stefan again.
The funny thing is, Stefan, idolizes her. In fact, he often defends her in forums hacker communities if someone vilifies her name. He also often gave her complex tasks with high fees. That probably has made them close.
"Little Boy... you know there are a lot of people out there who want my head?" She said while smiling.
