Chapter 270: Meeting Doctor Robert
Before arriving, they had an appointment with Doctor Robert, so they didn’t have to wait any longer. The VIP-only staff on the 10th floor immediately escorted them into Doctor Robert’s room.
When the door opened, Mel saw a thin man with grey hair sitting on his desk while his eyes fixed at the computer monitor. She smiled before calling him, "Uncle Robert...."
"Little Mel? OMG, now you’re getting taller." He stood up from his chair and walked over to her. "The last time we met, you were short like this?" Doctor Robert measured Mel’s height with his hands.
Mel chuckled while receiving his warm hug. After that, she introduces her grandfather and husband to Uncle Robert. And, of course, the news that Mel already has a husband took Robert by surprise. He protests because Mel did not tell him...
"How could you forget about me, Little Mel... Am I your uncle? Did you forget your promise before leaving this hospital?" Mel could only smile. He continued with his sulking tone, "You said to me, you will invite me if you get married!"
"Gosh, Uncle! Can you let me finish my sentence? We just registered our marriage. The wedding party will be held soon. And, I did intend to invite you, so don’t worry about being left behind, alright?" She laughed... "Uncle? Shouldn’t you be asking us to sit down by now?" Mel felt terrible that her grandfather and husband were still standing behind her. At the same time, she was engrossed in talking to uncle Robert.
He immediately apologized to Grandpa Tanner and Andrew. They all sat on the sofa in his room. Without delay, he straightforwardly talked about the treatment plan that he had prepared for Grandpa Tanner.
Grandpa is scheduled to do a general check-up before undergoing chemotherapy. He was assisted by Uncle Jim and Uncle Tang to carry out the check-up. Meanwhile, Andrew and Mel remained in Uncle Robert’s room.
Uncle Robert is glad after seeing Andrew up close. He is so handsome and charismatic, and he could tell that Andrew was not an ordinary man. He must be a successful businessman. His aura was so strong that it could intimidate those around him. But his interactions with Mel look so sweet, and he is doting her so much.
