Chapter 256: The Best Mother-In-Law
Lilly chuckled when she saw Lisa Wang in panic. She continued... "I, Lady Lilly William, on behalf of my husband, Arnold William. I could tell you that we never have any sort of marriage arrangement of our children with any of the Wang Family. And sorry to say, we will never arrange any marriage with another family because my son already has a fiance." Lilly turned her head to look at Mel, took her hand, and placed her in her arm.
Her action is an obvious sign to this woman that Mel is her daughter-in-law. Not her.
Lilly’s action made Lisa Wang’s eyes widen. Especially when she realized the beautiful girl beside Lilly William is Andrew’s fiancé. She feels irritated, but now she is also scared because she claims to be Andrew’s fiancé and makes Lilly William angry.
"So, excuse us first..." Lilly said and left Lisa Wang, which is still frozen in place.
"Let’s go, my daughter-in-law, let’s go shopping and spoil ourselves...." Lilly’s voice purposely thundered for Lisa Wang to hear. They enter the elevator, which Irina and Lara had been guarding for a while.
After the elevator doors closed, Lisa Wang still stood in her place, feeling confused. How come brother Andrew William already had a fiancé? Wouldn’t she be the one getting engaged to brother Andrew? Why is there another woman? And since when?
Her heart rumbled, and her mind was chaotic. She can’t think straight at the moment. She immediately walked away from the elevator and called her grandfather.
"Grandpa, how could brother Andrew now have a fiance?? You told me that you were going to set him up with me?" Lisa immediately asked her grandfather.
"My Granddaughter, what did you say? Try to say it slowly, huh...?" Old Wang patiently hears his pampered granddaughter.
