Chapter 243: Mario is Shocked
Andrew and Mel arrived at the W Mansion just as the sky turned darker. Grandpa and Andrew’s parents were already standing at the main door welcoming them enthusiastically. She feels a warmth in her heart.
"Granddaughter... come here with grandpa inside," Grandpa called Mel when he saw her getting out of the car.
Mel quickly walked over to Grandpa, leaving Andrew, who was taking out the gifts from the trunk with the help of his father and the butler. Although Andrew has a high position in the company, he still considers himself a son and young man at Will Mansion. He doesn’t like being spoiled and prefers to do something in Will Mansion by himself. Andrew is grateful that his father and the Mansion staff understand that.
It is also a tradition and culture of William’s family. When at home, the position in the office will not apply. They will act as an ordinary family. The sons and daughters must behave like average families, such as helping parents lift luggage, which he does now.
Mel was fascinated by the William family philosophy. She also agreed, because after all, family is more important than wealth and throne. And the way they address each other makes their family bonding so close and intimate. Although sometimes her husband seems annoyed with his family, he loves them deep inside and far outside his heart. For the Williams, family comes first.
When Mel entered the living room, he saw Mario had just emerged from the kitchen. His face has healed much. Only a few scars remain on his forehead, and there are some scars on his forearms. His nails also have appeared to be growing normally. He looks healthy and fit, much different from the ailings Mario she saw a few months ago.
Mel smiled at him. But Mario’s reaction made Mel laugh. His face looked so shocked when their eyes met. He looked stupify in his place, staring at her.
After a few seconds, they are staring at each other. Finally, Mario could gain his sense back, "Sh*t!! So Andrew’s brother’s lover is you...Mel? How could it be?" Mario shouted. His eyes narrowed at Mel, but a moment later, a slap landed on his head.
He was shocked and saw his mother was staring at him intently. "Ouch! M-mom....why did you hit me? It hurts!" He cried like a spoiled little boy to his mother. Mario was then stroking his head which was slapped by his mother.
