Chapter 225: Tricky Beast
"Hiro, I need a short holiday." She sips her tea while looking Hiro in the eyes. She signaled Hiro to drink his tea too.
She adds, "You know I’m stressed because of my grandpa’s accident and illness, right? Two bad things happened at the same time to such a benevolent Old Man. It upset me. That’s why I took a break from my activity and went on vacation with Andrew."
"Yeah, you’re right, Boss. You do need a vacation." Hiro smiles when he sees his boss’s eyes light up when she talks about her husband.
Mel nods while smiling.
"Boss, I just realized that you look different from the last time I saw you..." He stared at her intently. Her face looked radiant. She looks so delighted like spring appears at the end of winter.
Did something happen while she was on vacation? Hiro was guessing many possibilities in his mind.
Mel’s lips curve up into a faint smile when she thinks about her wild honeymoon with her beloved husband, she feels her cheek warm. She cleared her throat, ignored Hiro’s words. And immediately asked him about tomorrow’s event.
Hiro returned to focus on the subject he’d like to discuss with his Boss tonight. He immediately reported about tomorrow’s event plan...
"Boss, hopefully, tomorrow our launching of Digital SoftBank will be no problem. We are a hundred percent ready. I have just come back from The venue at the W group hotel." He sips his tea before continuing.
