Chapter 165: Personal Assistant
When she arrived at the office, she was immediately greeted by Amanda, Hiro’s secretary.
Mel told her about Lara and Irina who will soon come looking for her. When they came, she asked Amanda to take them to her office room.
After that, she went straight to her room.
As usual, Max reported the various developments of the company in detail, Mel listened in silence. Occasionally, she typed something on her laptop. Not long after, a knock came from the door.
She thought Irina and Lara had entered, but Harry had appeared in front of her. She looks so radiant and his dark brown hair, which was normally uncombed, was now neatly combed. He is different from usual.
"Harry, you look so radiant and happy today. Something good happens?" Mel asks while gesturing for him to sit on the sofa.
"Nothing! I’m just glad to see my kindhearted and beautiful Boss." He sat looking at Mel before continuing, "Sorry, boss, for the last incident that hurt you." His voice sounded regretful.
Mel raised her hand, asking him to stop bringing it up again.
"Harry, this afternoon, you will treat us to lunch, right?" She asks him.
"Huh!? Aren’t you guys who invited me to lunch?"
She stopped her work and joined him on the sofa, she sat opposite him, "Harry, as far as I know, the one who celebrates the birthday is the one who will treat someone else, right?" She asked in a serious tone.
