Chapter 150: The Jealous Mel
Andrew knew exactly what his girl was thinking now.
He laughed when he saw her frozen in place without knowing what to say. Andrew rubbed her back lightly to ease her mind.
He had to agree with his mother because he didn’t want his girl to feel burdened.
"Alright, mom, you can handle the wedding party. However, the number of guests to be invited is fixed. It cannot be changed. Just invited the top three families in this country, Close Family on both sides and Mel’s best friends." He paused before saying, "Because Mel and I don’t like parties, make sure to arrange a ’simple’ party." He emphasized the word simple.
Lilly rejoices hearing her son gives her authority to arrange their wedding party. But second later, her brows furrowed when she listened to the number of guests to be invited.
If she only invites three top families, does that mean she can’t ask other madams to brag that her son will get married to the beautiful Mel? Lilly immediately panicked.
"Son, can we invite the top ten families?" Lilly was begging her son.
"No!" Andrew answered firmly? He doesn’t want his and Mel’s identity to be known to many people.
Lilly feels like smacking her naughty son, but she tries to calm herself because she knows her son so well, he never compromises with what he has decided. But still, Lilly tries her luck... "Okay, son, how about we invite the top five?"
Andrew didn’t answer his mom. But he looked at his father with an intimidating look. He said, "Dad, please take care of your wife, or we will cancel the agreement!" He said firmly.
