Chapter 127: Boss, Run!
Mel speechless. She thinks Harry will spill others’ hot news. It turned out to be news about Sammy and Windy dating. As for that, she already knew earlier.
Mel shook her head then said in a casual tone, "Hmm, I already know about that!"
"B-Boss, you already know? So they’re really dating?" Now Harry was curious.
"Same with you, I was just guessing. But, if I look at Sammy and Windy’s gestures, it looks like they’re really dating." Mel smile.
Harry nodded in agreement.
"How about you? Have you also found a girlfriend?"
Harry raises his eyebrow. "Boss, sorry to say, but I don’t need a girlfriend. I’m comfortable living like this. Having a girlfriend might make my life complicated, and I’d probably lose some control over my life."
Suddenly Mel felt deja-vu. At the beginning of the year, she still had the same thoughts as Harry. She is not interested in finding a boyfriend because having a boyfriend is the same as having new problems. But, after meeting Andrew, everything changed. Now, her life is much happier and more colorful with Andrew than if she was alone.
"Harry, you know what, before I met Andrew, I had the same mindset as you. But, after I met him, everything changed. Life is more beautiful when we share it with someone we love." Mel smile remembering her stupid thought, "I can’t say all relationships are beautiful. There must be a lot of toxic relationships out there, but if we meet the right person, I think everything will be beautiful and sweet."
