Chapter 90: Married
In his arms, Mel smiles silently while her eyes feel blurry, her tears flow to her cheeks. She cries because she is so happy, her beloved boyfriend just proposed to her.
"Thanks, Mel, for agreeing to marry me," said Andrew whisper in her ear.
Mel immediately lifted her face to look at him. With an innocent face, she asked him... "Andrew, as far as I know, when a man proposes, they usually give the girl a diamond ring and..."
She pauses hesitated to tell him what was on her mind now, but after a while, she finally said... "And, usually there are beautiful flowers around them with romantic music back sounded, right?"
She used to see the proposal scenes in romance movies or Korean dramas. The lead man used to do romantic things like that.
Andrew chuckled.
"Hmm... you’re right..." he gently stroked Mel’s sharp nose. Mel blinked several times and waited for him to finish his sentence. He continued... "Your engagement ring is not yet finished, while I can’t wait any longer to propose to you. So, I decided to propose first and then give a ring to you later."
Mel dumbfounded.
’This dangerous man is so different from the average man. He doesn’t seem to follow the rules.’ She could only shake her head lightly.
"You’re mad at me for not proposing to you in the usual way?" His eyes flashed guilt.
"No, Andrew. I know you are different from most men out there, and you never follow the rules because you’re the ruler." She giggled... "I like you the way you are."
