Chapter 83: Sleep Together?
Andrew, who was happily hugging his little girl, was shocked when he felt Mel let go of her embrace.
He looked at her but what he saw made him even more shocked. Her face turned angry, she looked so annoyed, like someone stole her potato chips!
He is worried.
’What is wrong? Why did the little girl suddenly become sulky like this?’ He tried to remember if he said something wrong earlier? But before he could find an answer, he heard Mel calling out his name in a cold tone, different from her charming voice.
"Andrew..." Andrew can see thru her eyes, she was so annoyed.
She adds... "You have to honestly answer this question I’m asking." Mel crossed her arms across her chest.
Andrew waits for her quietly.
"Who’s that woman you invited to a dinner party in LA?" She asked seriously.
Andrew was confused.
Because he remembers, in LA when he attended a dinner he came with Raymond, his assistant. He didn’t come with any women. Andrew raised his eyebrows as if he was asking Mel to explain more details. But his little girl only stared at him.
Mel became annoyed when Andrew did not say anything. She then adds, "I heard that you went to a gala dinner with your female companion, a movie star. What’s her name again... duh, I forgot...." Mel closed her eyes while touching her forehead, trying to remember the movie star’s name.
