Chapter 81: Gift
Mel looked at the mirror in front of her. She was fascinated by her own appearance after wearing the dress Andrew had prepared for her. It’s a simple black knee-length dress.
When Mel puts the dress on, it makes her aura glow even more. Her face was a little pale, so she put on facial moisturizer and applies a colorless lip balm. Her lips have a natural light pink color.
After drying her hair, she left the room.
She walked towards the garden after not seeing Andrew in the living room area. In the mini kitchen in the corner, she saw Andrew seriously cooking something.
Around the infinity pool, a small square table with a white tablecloth has been neatly arranged with candles and flowers in the middle of the table.
Instantly her heart started beating fast again. She took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing heart.
’Oh, Mel... you have to get used to Andrew’s sweet side. Strengthen your weak heart. You have to be strong, Mel.’ She tried to encourage her heart not to quickly melt.
Mel just stood still to enjoy his figure from afar.
Andrew, who was grilling steak, noticed Mel standing near the door. He immediately waved his hand, calling her to come closer.
"Mel, you look so pretty in that dress," he said with a happy smile gleaming from his sparkling hazel eyes. "Mel, come closer..." he said again.
Mel’s cheeks felt warm and slightly red. "Andrew, thank you for this simple but elegant dress. I like it, it fits my taste very well, and it’s beautiful."
