Chapter 77: Lunch With Anna
When she walks out of the store, Anna calls her.
Anna said, now she was waiting for her at ’Ambiente Ristorante,’ an Italian restaurant on the second floor.
Today they decided to have lunch here because Ambiente Ristorante is a franchise restaurant from M country. This restaurant was their favorite restaurant when they were still living there.
When they know this restaurant is open in J city, they come right away because they really miss eating the signature dish in this restaurant.
Mel arrived at the restaurant half run. She saw Anna sit at a table in the corner of the room.
This restaurant doesn’t have a VIP room. All tables are arranged in a spacious hall with a huge glass window with a view of the busy street in the central district. The room decor is also minimalist but still luxurious and classy.
She walked towards Anna with her guilty face. She said...
"Anna, sorry I’m too immersed in shopping, and I forget about our lunch meeting." Mel was really sorry because she makes Anna wait for her, this was the first time she was late for an appointment with someone else.
Anna is stunned, not believing what she hears. "Are you shopping alone?" She asks in disbelief.
Her best friend Mel goes shopping alone?
And is she able to buy something?
