Chapter 66: You Want to Know My Answer?
At Wolfgang Steak House VIP Room.
Along the way, Mel couldn’t absorb everything that just happened in the car. She wanted to calm her mind and heart, which was still going wildly. But, soon as entering the VIP room, an image of their first meeting in the room came back to her mind. She couldn’t help but smile. Her heart raced again.
She immediately asked Andrew to excuse herself to go to the toilet in the VIP room. She can’t hold anymore. She may collapse now because her legs felt so weak.
Mel deeply exhaled while stroking her chest lightly while standing in front of the mirror.
She is dumbfounded.
She didn’t recognize the woman she saw in the mirror. She saw her cheeks reddened. Her eyes sparkled like she was looking at the burning flames. And the smile?
’Gosh! What is this? Why do I smile so wide like this?’ she chuckled.
She splashed water on her face trying to get her facial expression unintense. To look cool and calm again as she usually looks. But, after several minutes of trying, her face was still slightly red.
Finally, she gave up.
After a while, Mel hears Andrew knock on the door. She is stunned and immediately opens the door. Andrew is standing there waiting for her.
"Are you alright?" His tone sounded worried. "The food is ready. Let’s eat." He grabs Mel’s hand and walks to the dining table. Mel follows him. "What are you doing in the toilet for so long?" he asks.
