Chapter 62: Force Me If You Can
Not long after, she saw a Black Maybach stopped in front of her. Mel frowned because the car that stopped was different from Andrew’s previous car.
She just stood there, hesitating to approach the car. A few moments later, the car window slowly fell, and she heard Andrew’s voice call her... "Mel, get in the car."
"Andrew? Did you change your cars?" She immediately sat in the back seat beside him.
Andrew is working with a laptop on his lap. "Yes, city B is rather far away. I need a driver so we can relax and can chat without worrying about the traffic," he said while smiling. He adds "How was your lunch, Mel? I hope it was fun."
Mel is looking at him and nods, "Very fantastic. Pun intended." Andrew smile at her joke. "The food is delicious, and the serving concept is unique. I think we should go there next time." She adds enthusiastically.
"Sure!" Andrew was touched because this little girl wanted to go back to the restaurant with him. "Mel, we still have a long way to go. If you’re sleepy, just sleep. Take a nap. It’s good for your health," Andrew said softly.
Mel shook her head. Even though she was actually getting sleepy, she didn’t want to sleep. Mel wanted to accompany Andrew all the way, wanted to chat with him. But her eyes began to feel heavy, and occasionally she yawned. Last night she slept only a few hours.
She tries to hold back... "No, I’m not sleepy! I will accompany you. Continue your work, don’t mind me." she smiles at him.
A few moments later, her eyes could not be compromised.
In a short time, she fell asleep like a baby!
Andrew could only smile.
