Chapter 45: Become a friend?
He waited patiently for the little girl to respond to his question. But this cute girl was silent. Is she sick? Or, she does not hear me? Andrew, starting to worry about her.
After a while,
Finally, He heard the little girl speak in her alluring voice, "My name... Mel." Andrew just smiles calmly. Of course, I know your name, Ms. Mel Tan.
"Ms. Mel, wait here for a while, okay? I’ll ask someone to bring new clothes for you." He took out his cell phone, then call someone.
Mel just nodded.
"Do you want to eat something, Ms. Mel?"
Eat again? Instantly she felt nauseous, imagining the food she had just eaten. She refused quickly.
Mel didn’t know what to do. She kept quiet without starting a conversation. Somehow, being in this room alone with this dangerous man causing her brain function to decline drastically. How strange.
"Ms. Mel, Want to drink something?" he asks again.
No need. Just looking at your face is enough. Mel wanted to say that, but that’s impossible, right?
"Yes, please, warm chocolate." She said, then turned her gaze out the window, trying not to make eye contact with him.
