Chapter 39: Moving to City J
"Young Miss, you want to buy Tanner Entertainment Agency shares?"
Mel nods slightly. "Aunty Bella, you don’t have to call me Young Miss anymore; just call me Mel or Little Mel." She smiles at her. "I’m not a young miss anymore." She sips her tea slowly.
When Mel left Tanner, she had no idea what had happened. Mel just followed her mother, and she never told Mel the reason until she died. However, Little Mel was sensitive; Mel could sense that their departure had something to do with her father. But at that time, she was too young to care about it.
Everything became clear up when she awake from the coma as Her Grandma has explained everything.
Hatred towards Alan Tanner, her father, and his wife Vivian began to grow. She started looking for information about these two people; Mel finally found out why her mother divorced her father.
After Mel’s condition improves, she has decided to change her identity, becoming Mel Tan.
Mel explains to Aunty Bella that now she has changed her name, she doesn’t use ’Tanner’ anymore. She owns a company and intends to avenge her mother’s death by snatching the Tanner Entertainment Agency from Vivian.
Bella was surprised to know that Mel harbored hatred towards her father and Vivian. Bella didn’t know what to do. Now she tries to hide any emotion she had about Mel’s plan. She was just silent, listening to Mel revealing her plan.
Mel needs Aunt Bella’s help to acquire some of the company’s shares, owned by some gentlemen. Mel is confident she could purchase their shares through Aunt Bella.
But what Mel has just heard from Aunt Bella made her dumbfounded.
What! The name of the person who registered as a shareholder is fake? a.k.a. not an actual shareholder?
