Chapter 301: WHY?
The week went by quickly. No news from Leon or any words from Ikaris. Everything seemed strange in Allynna’s mind. Furthermore, she had not seen Geoffrey for the past few days on this island. Lella told her that Geoffrey was returning to Prince Castle to look after the Castle’s renovation.
The past few days, apart from spending time in her mindspace, Allynna also explored the long beautiful beaches on the island with Lella. They spend a lot of time playing on the beach, and several times they go around the island by boat. They also often snorkel on the right side of the island. The underwater scenery in the area is really heavenly. More than what she saw on the island of Leon in the mortal world.
However, even though she enjoyed the natural beauty of this island, her heart still felt emptiness. For almost two weeks, she lost contact with her husband. Her patience was running out. If she didn’t hear any news from Leon till this afternoon, she would visit the palace and ask Her Father-In-law about Leon’s whereabouts.
What exactly is the mission he is currently on? Why no news after almost two weeks? Is he okay? All of these questions pop up nonstop in her mind. She will ask His Majesty Aolis to answer her curiosity.
If His Majesty Aolis didn’t know, she would go to her father. She had heard that Leon was more comfortable reporting his work to her father than to His Majesty Aolis. Maybe her father knew about this top-secret mission.
She really didn’t like secret missions! If Leon were to undertake a mission like this again in the future, she would surely protest against it. Or she will go with him. She couldn’t stand being apart for so long without any news from her husband.
Allynna, who was still lying on her bed, saw the sun outside was already shining brightly. But she didn’t have the slightest desire to get out of bed. Today for some reason, she just wanted to be in her bed.
She wraps her body with the blanket as she tries to close her eyes again. She wanted to sleep all day. Hope this day passes quickly.
After a few minutes, she tries to sleep, hearing a faint step approaching her bedroom. She opened her eyes, feeling annoyed. Lella must come to ask her for breakfast.
