Chapter 284: The Mission
The day in Mortal Land went by so fast. Without realizing Allynna has been in this land for several months. Several times they moved to other places on the European continent. But they often return to Royal City.
Allynna was like a local in Royal City. She enjoys her life in this city. Every day she goes out with Faith and Ikaris for lunch outside and goes shopping. Sometimes she also goes to see a movie or opera at the theatre.
Meanwhile, Leon often disappears during the day. It seemed he had returned to Bellsor to take care of his work. But every night or weekend, he always tries to accompany her, goes out for dinner outside, or stays at home.
She started to like to stay in this country, but they should move to another place. Leon said they would go to another continent. Which feels warmer than this place. She was excited, hoping Leon would bring her to a different vibe like a beach or a mountain. Living many weeks in the hustle and bustle of a big city made her miss the beach.
But she had to wait. Because Leon took her to a cold place again. No wonder before leaving their penthouse, Leon has asked her to wear winter clothes. Now, they appear in the middle of a snowy forest in the dark night.
This place looks creepy. There are no lights at all in the area. Allynna could hear the howling of a wolf from a distance that made her body shudder. She gripped Leon’s arm tightly, worried that a monster might attack them.
"Where are we, Leon? Why did you bring me to this mysterious place?" Allynna whispers to him, afraid someone might hear her voice.
Leon stops his step and glances at the girl beside him.
"Sorry, My Love, I had to bring you here. Because there’s something essential that I need to clear up before we get to our destination." When he saw his girl didn’t seem enthusiastic, he smiled before saying, "We will go to your favorite place soon, my love...."
