When Leon stands between Allynna and Grandpa at that moment, their eye contact is broken.
Allynna can move her body. She was utterly surprised to see Leon standing right before her. She could hear his angry thoughts and was instantly shocked. Without thinking, she quickly grabbed Leon’s hand and pulled it gently trying to persuade him not to be angry.
"Leon! It’s ok... I’m fine. I don’t feel hurt anymore." Allynna communicated with him through his mind.
Leon snapped out when Allynna’s cold hand touched his arm. He looked back and showed her worry-looking eyes instantly his anger subsided a little.
Allynna continued her words when she saw Leon look back at her, "Leon, Grandpa will not harm me. Believe him, he will never do that to me..."
She feels happy because Leon protects her well but afraid at the same time because he is willing to clash with his Grandpa just because of her.
"A-Allynna... my love, are you alright?" Leon asked worriedly. At this moment, his mind and heart still can’t be calm. He was so angry with his Grandpa. Just a moment ago, when he heard Allynna in pain, he felt like his blood was boiling. It felt like he wanted to vent his anger by hitting someone.
"My Grandson Eleon, I’m your Grandpa... Why do you think I will harm your beloved fiance, Allynna?" Leovaris raised his brow, looking displeased with his only grandson’s reaction. "Allynna is also my granddaughter. How could I harm her?" Leovaris waved his hand and instantly froze Leon’s body.
Leon feels even more fuming when he can’t move his body. He can only move his eyes, looking at his Grandpa. Luckily, his mind is still working fine and under his total control.
"Grandpa! What are you doing? Don’t joke with me, or I’ll lose my temper!" Leon scolded his Grandpa in anger.
