Chapter 218: Late Summer Party
Lella feels proud of herself because she can make Lady Allynna laugh. Still, at the same time, she was worried his highness would scold her because she now gossips about him. "My Lady, now you are ready! Shall we go down now? It’s almost 7 PM, and I’m sorry you could be late, Ma’am....."
Allynna looked at her face once again. She felt her face look, as usual, because she didn’t use any makeup at all, only moisturizer to protect her skin from drying. She also uses lip tint to make her lips look fresher. The only difference is her hairdo. Usually, her lengthy hair flows down on her back, but tonight, Lella made it into a simple bun, with a hairpin in the shape of a small flower pinned in her hair.
She smiled, satisfied at her appearance. After that, she nodded at Lella. She has to get down immediately because Leon will arrive soon.
Lella helped Lady Allynna stand up from the chair and helped her down the stairs because she was wearing high heels and had difficulty going down the stairs. Even though her heels are not that high, Lella knows that Lady Allynna doesn’t like wearing heels. She always wears flat shoes or sneakers. Even in Sarlun, she is barefoot most of the time when she goes to the beach.
Lady Allynna is different from what she hears about noble ladies out there in Lella’s eyes. Most young noble ladies are too spoiled by their parents to make them weak brats. They are only good at making themselves beautiful by using makeup and good at gossiping.
