Chapter 206: Exhausted
Next Day.
Allynna woke up from her sleep after she felt her stomach hurt. Her back formed an arc while enduring the pain in her lower belly. She squirmed under the blanket, and a few moans escaped from her mouth. Soon she can feel someone sitting on the side of her bed shaking her shoulder.
"Allynna! What happened!?"
Faintly Allynna could hear the voice she most wanted to hear. Slowly she opens her eyes and meets Leon’s golden eyes. But she was stunned when she saw a hint of fear in there.
"L-Leon, why are you...."
"My Love! What happened? You look like you’re in pain?" He placed his hand on her wet forehead. "Are you sick? Allynna..." His voice sounded so worried.
Allynna raised her eyebrows in confusion.
"I’m pretty good...." Allynna got up from sleep and held her hands tightly beside Leon. "I just..." She couldn’t continue her words.
Last night before going to bed, her period came. As usual, she will experience heartburn due to menstruation. She was embarrassed to say that to Leon and was afraid that Leon would think of her as a patient.
She better hide it. She will just heal herself using her inner strength to not feel sick and worry Leon.
"Well, I’m...." Allynna stood up from bed before continuing, "Leon, please wait here. I will take a shower first." She walked fast to the bathroom. Leaving Leon, who looked confused and worried at her.
