Chapter 165: The Reason
After she activated the body shield on her watch, she walked towards the noise made by monsters with her quick steps. Allynna braced herself to be brave, even though the road in front of her was dimly visible because of the thick leaves covering the moonlight.
If only she had divine eyes, she would have no trouble seeing in the dark like this. Allynna wonders if Royal Intelligence has a divine eye device?
If they had not yet made that tool, then she would make it. She desperately needed such a sophisticated tool at a difficult time like this.
She was too afraid to turn on her cellphone light, afraid she would attract the attention of the monsters. She knows very well that Red-Eyes monsters are not just ordinary monsters. They are intelligent and sly and able to even manipulate the human mind. But, this time, the monster wouldn’t be able to control her mind. She was very confident that her innate ability could protect her mind.
And if the Red Eyes Monster endangers her life, she can enter her space, stay there for a while and emerge in a safe place. She must be safe! Nothing will happen to her. She just needs to locate where Leon is. She must find him soon to assist him if he needs help.
After a few minutes of walking, she arrived at the area where the trees were getting denser, and the location was really dark. She stops her step and tries her best to look at her surroundings. She sees nothing but darkness, and strangely she can’t hear anything. Including the howling sound of the red-eyed monster, her ears had caught its sound a while ago, shouting so loudly.
Why is it so quiet here? Where am I?
Allynna was starting to get worried. She focused all her senses to find out soon if there was danger threatening her. She tried to walk again though limping. But the further she walked, the weirder she felt. Now the gust of wind that was still felt suddenly disappeared as if she had entered another space.
