Chapter 149: Meet In Law (1)
He sat impatiently waiting for them to come down from the second floor. Soon he saw Allynna walk into the living room holding hands with Aunt Felicia. He feels happy and proud that his girl can overcome her anxiety. Now she is so relaxed with her family.
"Prince Eleon! We have to say goodbye now. We have a lot to do...." Felix walked over to Prince Eleon, who was standing looking at them. He wanted to immediately mobilize people to renovate his family’s mansion in the Royal district, Mavaria city. They only had a week before their daughter could live with them.
"Prince, aunty, leaving my daughter to you..." Felicia stepped closer to Leon and held his hand. Her eyes looked at him before she continued, "And thank you so much because you took care of my little daughter all this time. Let aunty repay you later..." A warm smile could be seen on her face, making Leon slightly happy.
"Aunty! Don’t say that. I have to take care of and protect her. It’s my duty." Leon said, then he saw Felix Moon again, "Uncle, from deep inside my heart, I apologized to you because I said something that hurt you earlier. I didn’t mean anything. I just want to protect her...."
Felix smiles when he hears Prince Eleon’s words. This is the first time he listened to the Crown Prince apologize to other people. Especially him.
"I totally understand. Don’t worry, Prince Eleon..." Felix says, then taps his shoulder slightly.
After a short goodbye, the three Moons left the castle. Now in the large family room, there were only Allynna and Leon.
They both stood by the window. Allynna’s eyes saw her parents and older brother disappear behind the shady trees that led to the waterfall.
While Leon looks at the girl beside him. He was mesmerized to see Allynna’s side profile. She’s looking grand and beautiful while looking out the window at her parents. He felt lucky to have her as his fiance. For his parents and grandpa’s decision, arranging a marriage with Allynna made him genuinely grateful.
Leon was really proud of her because she was so tough to survive after being kidnapped. It is still a mystery to him how she ended up at the orphanage on Sarlun Island until she was adopted by the Frost family.
When Leon met Ms. Kanellis the Director of the Orphanage, he tried to get any helpful information from her, but nothing was valuable. According to Ms. Kannelis, she found Allynna, still a baby, at her orphanage house’s door. It was as if someone deliberately placed her there. But, who? This is the biggest question in Leon’s mind at the moment.
"My Love, how are you feeling now? Tell me..." He asked without taking his eyes off her. She took a deep sigh then looked at him.
