Chapter 144: Paying Respect
Shortly after, Felicia took her daughter’s hand as they walked to the second floor. Behind her, her husband and son followed them.
Felicia let the two of them follow. The more people join her, her little daughter might feel comfortable with it. Especially when there was Xavier, whom Allynna had met several times.
When they entered the same guest room where they chatted earlier, they all sat down on the sofa.
"Sister Ally, come sit with me here..." Xavier calls his sister. But just as Allynna was about to sit beside Xavier, she felt someone holding her hand.
Allynna turned to look at the person who held her hand, her eyes met with her Mother’s.
Felicia is holding the hand of her long-lost daughter so tight as if she was afraid her daughter would disappear again. Allynna silently smiles and follows to sit beside her opposite Xavier. Her father, Felix Moon, sat beside Xavier.
"Mother, can you let my sister sit with me!?" Xavier cried, but he shut his mouth when he saw his father glared at him. Afraid his father would hit him again. As a military general, his father’s strength is far above. Moreover, he has an innate ability, moves so fast. Never before had he found anyone who could be as quickly as his father.
"My Daughter, Allynna..." Felicia said, completely ignoring her firstborn. Her eyes never look anywhere else, only at her daughter. Makes Allynna feel so embarrassed. She still needs much more time to get used to it.
A few days ago, she still didn’t know who her real family was, but now she could sit with her parents and brother. In one day, she could meet all her family except for her twin brother Anders. She wanted to ask them about him, but she couldn’t say it even when the words were already on the tip of her tongue. She just sat quietly listening and answering what they asked.
