Chapter 104: Recognized
After walking for a few minutes, they finally arrived at an old but still-looking sturdy building. The building looks ancient, but there is a modern touch on some sides of the building.
Allynna could see from afar many students lined up to register. But she didn’t see Helan there. She stopped her step near the garden in front of the building and found a bench to sit on.
She tried to call Helan and Lizzy to ask about their current position. But they did not answer her phone call. After a few tries, she finally decided to just wait. She sat on the bench looking at her cell phone, trying to check a few news updates. While Ikaris just stood near her, discreetly looking around the Tech Building.
"My Lady, isn’t that your best friend?" Ikaris said after a few moments, they waited.
Slowly Allynna raises her head and looks in the direction of Ikaris point. From afar, she could see Helan and Lizzy walk to them. Allynna immediately stood up. She chuckled to see them dragging their big suitcases with difficulty. After switching off her face changer device, Allynna walked toward them.
"Why are you guys bringing your suitcase now?" Allynna asks right away while walking by their side. She thought her friend would only check out tomorrow.
"Allynna!" shouts Lizzy and Helan together. They were screaming in surprise and excitement to see her.
"Today is our last day to admit to the dorm. So we better check out now. And you, young lady, will you live elsewhere?" Lizzy asked, confused. She didn’t see Allynna and Ikaris carrying their suitcases.
"Liz! Behave yourself. Did you forget Lady Allynna’s status now? We’re lucky we don’t have to bow to her every time." Helan said in a serious tone but with a comical-looking face. It made Lizzy suddenly startled to realize Helan’s meaning. "How could someone as important as our beloved best friend stay at the dorm?" Helan laughed. When he saw Allynna glare at him with sharp eyes, he immediately shut his mouth, afraid Ally would scold him.
"A-Ally... I’m just kidding, alright! Don’t be too serious. And don’t tell the prince, please...." He grinned at her and walked to the tech Building leaving the three of them.
Allynna speechless. How could he just run away like that?
