Chapter 98: She Was In Trouble
Leon was stunned to see Allynna at his side, frowning at Xavier.
Did she realize this man was related to her by blood?
"Allynna..." Leon calls her softly. When the girl sees him in the eyes, he smiles dotingly at her and holds her hand. "This is my best friend, Xavier Moon. He’s one of the brightest generals in the Empire’s military command." Leon said. Then Leon gazed at Xavier, standing a few meters from them. He said to Xavier, "This is Allynna Frost, my fiance."
Xavier greeted his little sister with mixed feelings. It was like there was a wave inside him. He was overwhelmed with the emotions he was feeling right now. "Hai, Lady Allynna Frost, it’s nice to meet you," Xavier said and walked a few steps to see her more clearly.
This is the first time he saw his sister’s face this close. Her face looks so much like their mother when she was a teenager. It amazes him how beautiful his little sister is. He can’t blink, his eyes just staring at her. He wants to know everything about her as many thoughts fill up his mind now. But what Xavier feels is different from Allynna. The way Xavier stares at her makes her feel uneasy.
Allynna immediately turned her gaze to Leon. She was stunned because Leon looked so calm. She can feel Leon did not look jealous even when Xavier looked deeply at her.
Doesn’t he always get upset when other people see her the way Xavier does?
She clearly remembers several times Leon likes to send a dead gaze or warning to men who pay attention to her, like Helan. But, now, he was entirely at ease. As if he considered Xavier, not his foe. She felt Leon’s attitude was strange.
Leon looked at the girl with a warm smile.
