Chapter 74: Don’t Punish Her
She saw Leon walk to the sofa and sit leisurely.
"What you thought is true. Yesterday, you experienced a very terrible incident. I found you in a state of unconsciousness. After that, I took you to the castle and called a healer to heal you." Leon carefully watched Allynna’s face. She looks so shocked now, her face turning pale, her eyes blinking fast as if she was trying to calm her mind and heart.
Seeing the girl in front of him was in shock, Leon regretted telling her. Now what he feared became a reality. She became traumatized by that incident.
"Allynna, you should know yesterday’s incident made me so afraid to lose you... but I also don’t want you to be traumatized. That’s why I really hope you will forget those painful memories..." He said with a worried tone. Leon wanted to tell her that he tried to erase her memories yesterday, but he couldn’t. He never failed before, so he doesn’t know how to tell failure.
Allynna is stunned to hear Leon’s words. Now, she understands why earlier Leon tries to avoid talking about that incident. It turns out he doesn’t want her to remember that painful incident again...
How sweet he is.
Instantly Allynna feels her heart warm inside. She tries to smile at him as if wanting to reassure him that now she feels better. He doesn’t have to worry about her... she is okay. Living without the slightest trace of injury made her feel blessed. She is really grateful for being given a second chance at life and being able to be with a man she likes, a man who makes her know what it’s like to be in love.
"Brother Leon, don’t worry. Now, I’m fine. I also want to thank you for saving me when I needed you the most. I didn’t have the strength anymore to protect myself at that time. I was tired, and I thought my life would end because of that red-eyed monster..." Allynna’s voice trembled, and her eyes felt warm. She was so emotional telling what she experienced in the last seconds before she passed out.
Leon silently heard the girl tell what she felt. The anger that he felt yesterday suddenly returned and swallowed his burning heart. Instantly his hands were clenched into fists. Before the color of his two eyes changed to the color of the blazing sun, he heard the angel’s voice in his ear...
He regained his composure and heard what she said with a calm face.
"I also want to thank the doctors who have treated all of my wounds. They have done such a perfect job. There are no scars left on my body, and I didn’t feel any pain at all. Brother, I’m sorry... because I didn’t keep my promise to stay on a safe path. Forgive me..." Allynna said in a trembling voice. She almost had tears in her eyes, but she tried to hold on, afraid Leon would be feeling sad. Then she remembered her maid, Lella.
Where is she?
