Chapter 50: Allynna Birthday
Allynna really wants to see the sunrise or sunset from up there. But after hearing Leon’s warning, she decides to follow his advice. She will climb the mountain after he finishes checking if it’s safe.
After a while, they were silent again, Allynna glanced at him curiously at what he was doing, but she was shocked by what she saw.
At the moment, Leon was looking at her with an unusual look. He looked like he wanted to tell her something important.
For several seconds she waited for him to speak, but he just kept quiet. And didn’t take his eyes off either. It made Allynna nervous.
They are staring at each other...
Leon was startled to see Allynna’s angelic face and a sweet smile framing her face that glowed in the moonlight. Her jade-like eyes shine and make him bewitched. He forgot to turn his gaze away from her.
What happened to him? Is he starting to like or even love her?
No! this isn’t love, or is it? Well, Leon admits to himself that he never knows how it feels. But for now, he thinks something is growing in his heart. That thing has made him care for Allynna. Care a lot more than he could ever admit. In the beginning, Leon only cares for Allynna as his future wife. The only woman who is destined to be his companion. But now, seeing her close, sensing her beautiful smell, has made his heart beat faster.
"Brother Leon... is there something you want to tell me?" Allynna finally asks him.
