Iris was surprised when she arrived at their house. She saw her brother Eric waiting for them on the veranda. He looked healthy. His white polo shirt made his face look brighter, but a trace of worry flashed through his eyes when he saw their car approaching.
Xavier had explained her sudden departure to Eric a month ago. That time, Xavier tells Eric that she has work to do in another country. And the area is so remote that it is difficult to contact her. Luckily, Eric believed Xavier and didn’t ask any more questions.

Xavier helped unbuckle her seat belt.
