Chapter 207: Suspicious (1)
When Paul brings Eric to check his new house, Iris doesn’t follow them. Instead, she asks Justin to accompany her to the beach, only a few meters from the cabin’s front yard where Eric would reside.
Even though Justin feels suspicious of Iris, he still follows her.
"What? Why did you pull me here?" Justin asked. He was slightly worried this girl would ask about Xavier’s mortal enemy again. He can’t disclose to her about it, or Xavier might kill him for sure.
"Why do you look suspicious? Like you’re hiding something from me?" Iris stops her steps when they arrive at a white sandy beach.
She narrowed her eyes at Justin, but he turned away, looking towards the sea.
"And now you’re avoiding me!?" She can’t help but chuckle when she sees how Justin doesn’t want to talk to her.
Justin slowly returned his gaze to her, "Well, my friend, if you want to ask me about what we talked about earlier on the boat, just forget it. I won’t say any words about it. So you should throw away that thought from your mind," he grinned.
When Iris wanted to say something, she stopped when she saw Justin open his mouth.
"Don’t force me, Iris. I will not speak about it even if you entice me with something. Nope! Sorry!!" He made a gesture to seal his mouth, then crossed his arms before his chest.
