Chapter 174: Dark Eyes
Next Morning.
The first thing Iris did when she woke up was look for Xavier immediately. She knew he was in the home office because he did that almost every morning.
And since the incident where she teleported into his office while he was receiving guests, Iris never did that again. She always knocked on his office to get his permission to enter.
But now, the door slowly opened before he knocked. She heard Xavier’s voice greet her cheerfully.
"Good morning, Iris," Xavier said as he stood up from his seat and walked towards her. "How was your sleep? You look fresh and beautiful as always..." He holds her hand and brings her inside.
"Hi, good morning, Xavier... my sleep was okay." Iris smiled at him, even though her smile didn’t quite reach her eyes because she was in a rush and wanted to see the picture Xavier had drawn for her.
She needed to see the picture to confirm whether Xavier could deliver what she had told him last night.
"Do you want to see the picture?" Xavier asked. He could guess her expression without her asking when he saw her nod. He asked her to wait for him on the sofa.

After Xavier took the iPad to his office table, he joined her and offered the iPad for her to check the result. He patiently waited while looking at her expression.
