Chapter 132: Moving
Thrill wanted to know how her life would be after living with him.
And worry that Xavier would find out about her identity as an assassin.
Luckily, Gavriel agreed not to suddenly appear in Xavier’s house. They would meet at Gray Cafe, their usual spot, if something important happened.
As their car passed by Gray Cafe, Xavier offered to stop by, but she refused. She had already brought all her important belongings in her space ring, and some of her clothes were in the suitcase she had sent to his house a day before.
Besides, she didn’t want to wake up Maya, who was now living in their house.
"You need more sleep, Iris. I heard from Grandma Gray that you didn’t sleep all night." Xavier glanced at her, feeling concerned when he saw her yawn several times.
Iris didn’t refuse him. She was indeed feeling very sleepy. Last night, she had helped her grandma pack, and they had talked about many things all night. She had only slept a few hours before they had to go to the airport.
...
Even though Iris had visited Xavier’s house many times, this was the first time she felt nervous as they got closer to his house. Because this time, she came to this house not as a guest but as a new family member, where she would live with him, along with Justin and Niles.
When she saw the lights of Darkwood Villa still shining from a distance, she suddenly remembered something important that she had forgotten to ask him, as she had been too focused on helping her grandma in the past few days.
Iris turned her gaze to Xavier as their car finally stopped in front of his house.
