"Gosh! So my kind senior, Gavriel, wants to give me this beautiful pistol?" Iris said while smiling happily. Without hesitation, she promptly answered Gavriel’s phone call.
"Hello, Gavriel—"
"Are you with your boyfriend or not?" Gavriel asked in a hushed tone, clearly concerned about a certain lord’s reaction. He couldn’t afford to offend him.
Even though Iris was confused by Gavriel’s question, she still answered, "No. I’m at home alone..."
A sigh of relief could be heard from the other end, raising Iris’s suspicions that something might have happened to him.
"Are you alright there, Gavriel?" She asked nervously.
Gavriel cleared his throat before responding. However, he didn’t answer her question; instead, he asked, "Did you see the gift I gave you?"
"Yes. I just opened it. You know what... I was impressed with this pistol. It’s so beautiful," Iris said, then she placed the pistol back inside the box, but before she closed the box, her eyes fell on a shiny object in the corner of the box. When she took the object, she was stunned by the sight of a gold ring with another strange rune engraved on it.
"Glad that you like it. Actually, the gun is not just any ordinary gun. It’s a magic gun. When you use it, your victim will not suffer wounds like those left by ordinary guns and bullets but they will die naturally..." Gavriel patiently explained the magic gun’s advantages and how to use it.
