Chapter 513: Telling The Truth
She nodded while smiling at him, and Evan kissed her again.
"Evan Collins!! Stop teasing your wife! She’s still sick. Are you bullying her again?" Arthur Collins’ voice echoing in the VIP room made him flinch in surprise.
When he looked back, he saw his grandfather and all the other family members entering the room.
He cleared his throat and stepped aside after his mother and mother-in-law pushed him away. They were now stealing his wife again. Hiss!
Rose felt blessed to see her whole family come together. With tears in her eyes, she smiled happily that she still had the opportunity to meet them and spend the rest of her life with them.
And what she was most grateful for as she is fulfilling her mother and mother-in-law’s wish, giving them a grandchild.
"How do you feel!?" Asked Nicholas, who was already standing near the health monitor. He skillfully checked the tools and medical records. He also checked her body to make sure she was okay.
"Dad, it’s so uncomfortable..." She smiled weakly. She could only lie on the bed with minimal movement.
"I know. But you have to be strong enough to endure it. You will stay like this for a long time, so you have to get used to it. And, can you stay out of trouble?" Nicholas shook his head slowly, feeling sorry for his daughter, who was always hurting herself.
"Stop scolding our daughter, Nick!" Molly said, glaring at her husband. Then she smiled lovingly at her little daughter, "You don’t need to worry, Rose... Even if you lie in bed for a long time, I will keep you company. I will take care of you, dear..." She caressed Rose’s cheek gently.
Instantly Nicholas’s face stiffened. Will his wife stay here? That means he will be left alone in the capital, right?
