Chapter 507: It’s Time To Stop
"Please, Dustin, just let me go. I promise I’ll ask Evan to forgive you. You can normally live with your new identity, but you should never show yourself in front of Evan or me again." She begged.
Seeing how red her eyes were now, Dustin felt hurt. He didn’t want to hurt her. He just wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.
"Alright! I’ll let you go... But you have to put the fork aside. It could hurt you, Rose!"
Dustin’s voice was soft, making Rose falter a little. Then, she slowly lowered her hand and placed the fork in her pocket trouser.
"You have to promise to do it... set me free!?" She asked again to make sure this man didn’t lie to her.
"Yes, I promise you. I will never hurt you, now or in the future!" said Dustin. He still couldn’t believe what she said about her death, even when they were face to face, like right now.
He would never do such a terrible thing to her; Kill her? Insulting their love? How could he do that!? He would never do that, not in this life and the future.
"You know I love you, Rose. I would never hurt you..." He smiled lovingly at her. "Come here..."
Rose didn’t move. She just stared at him. Seeing Willard Harper smile so lovingly could put her agitated mind and heart slightly at ease.
