Chapter 447: Distance
Molly Wilson had told Rose that the food she made was good for her fertility.
Of course, Rose didn’t believe that, but she was too tired of arguing with her mother. So, she listens to her mother and eats whatever she cooks.
Even though her mother’s cooking was slightly different from what she usually cooked, it tasted equally delicious on Rose’s tongue. That’s one reason Rose can eat everything her mother feeds her.

Unfortunately, not only does Molly provide food for Rose, but she also serves a strange drink she calls a ’magic tonic.’
The ’Magic Tonic’ was so bitter it tasted like hell. And after Rose drank it, she felt her whole body heat up. It was as if someone was burning a bonfire within her body. Gosh!
Rose didn’t know how her mother got the strange drink, but she had heard from Laura that her mother got it from Asian Town, a few miles from the city.
At least for drinks, Rose didn’t have to suffer alone since Evan was being targeted by her mother as well. However, Evan was very patient with her mother—he happily accepted the bitter tonic and said the tonic was delicious.
Evan’s patience and consideration for her mother’s pregnancy plans made Rose even more anxious because another month had passed, and she still wasn’t pregnant.
