Rose didn’t notice the change in Evan’s face.
"Looks like I’ll have to ask Keira to find a girl for Danny and the others. There should be a lot of pretty girls on her campus, right?" Rose was delighted at her brilliant idea. She stood up and looked around to find Keira.
After a while, she found her...
"Keira!? What are you looking for?" Rose was standing behind Keira, looking towards the exit door, "Let’s go to my room...."
Rose was tired, and Evan asked her to rest in their room while he entertained other guests.
"Sis, it’s about Noah’s brother. He just left..." Keira said as she walked with Rose to the main house.
Instantly Rose stopped her steps, looking at Keira. And she asked, "Did Brother Noah go home? Why didn’t he say goodbye to me?" Rose was surprised that Noah had gone home without saying goodbye to her.
Why?
"Well, he left a message for you—Noah said he had something important he couldn’t put off. So he should go there after he’s done singing here..."
Although Rose felt strange about Noah’s sudden departure, she didn’t say anything else. She would call him tomorrow to ask him directly.
"Sis, you look tired. The party is over. You should rest...." Keira was worried seeing Rose’s pale face and usually bright eyes, now slightly dim. "Are you sleepy?"
