Chapter 297: Unplanned Fanmeet
"Brother Noah... You finally have time to pick up my phone, huh!?" Rose’s tone was cheerful as usual whenever she spoke to him.
After yesterday she was a little disappointed that Noah couldn’t attend her parents’ wedding.
"Little Sister! It is good to hear that you are so cheerful. So, I guess you have good news that you’d like me to hear?"
"Of course there is. I’m glad you finally called me first. Uncle said you were out of town... when are you coming back?"
"Sister, I’m sorry I can’t attend the wedding. Yesterday there was work that I couldn’t postpone." Noah nonchalantly lied. Yesterday he buried himself in the studio. His heart wasn’t ready to see this girl with another man. His heart wasn’t strong enough to accept that reality.
"It’s okay. I can understand. After all, my mother and father’s wedding ceremony was very sudden." Rose chuckled, remembering how impatient her father was to immediately legalize his relationship with her mother.
"Brother, are you in the capital now?" Rose continued.
"Yes. I came back this morning. And, as we talked, I agreed to be your company’s brand ambassador. Can we meet today to sign the contract? I have to leave the country for the next few days, so before leaving, I want to finish my work here."
Rose felt delighted when she heard that.
