Chapter 290: Mr. Evan Lavish Collins
Before Rose left the house, she met all the staff who worked for them. She was surprised to learn that more than twenty people worked in this house. During the brief meeting, Rose also met the assistant assigned to help her, Laura Martin. However, she didn’t have much time to chat with Laura. Because Evan was already waiting for her in the car. He looked impatient.
"Wife, from now on, Sam will stay with us as a full-time bodyguard. He moved today. So wherever you go, he will follow you...." Evan said as their car drove towards the city.
Why did he suddenly ask Sam to live with them?
Rose glanced at Evan, wanting to ask his reason, but his face was straight ahead, focused on driving the vehicle. Seeing him look so focused on the road, she put the matter aside. She will ask him later.
She opened her cell phone and started reading the incoming text messages from her mother. Molly tells her that she is heading to East City with her father. After replying to her mother, she opened her office group chat. It was amusing to read their conversation. As usual, all the single souls in the group were actively discussing their future girlfriends. A topic they talked about more than office matters.
"We have arrived!"
Rose slowly raised her head. She was surprised to see their car parked in front of the main entrance of the unfinished skyscraper. Looking at the layout of the building, she could guess that this building would be used as an office.
"Where are we?" She asked while looking around.
Rose could see they were next to the Collins’ Luxury shopping center in the Entertainment District, a block away from her current office in the business district.
She was familiar with this place because, in her previous life, she often came to this shopping center.
Why did Evan bring her to this building? Her wedding gift in this building? Or does he just come here to visit his company project?
