Chapter 273: Sleep Alone
Ten days had passed since Molly Wilson had woken up from a coma.
Rose spent a lot of time in the hospital. She patiently accompanied her mother through various therapies. But even though Rose was busy at the hospital, she didn’t neglect her company, the Wilson Group. Her company’s business is increasing and needs more attention from her. She always stopped by her office, even if only briefly. Or, even if she couldn’t, she would talk to Oliver or the others over the phone.
There was progress in the game development division, King Game Company. The company will be launching a new game in a few weeks, which makes Rose very excited because Oliver’s team was able to make a Game like never before. She gave them cheats from a future game she had played.
Other companies, such as Rapid Realty, are currently in the recovery phase after taking over the old management. She would not rush to restore the glory of this company. She had grand plans to turn this bankrupt company into the Wilson Group’s most significant source of income.
Over the past ten days, the Spencers had visited Molly Wilson frequently in the hospital. Molly Wilson didn’t take long to become close and comfortable with her husband’s family, especially her chatty and enthusiastic sister-in-law Amanda Spencer. Not only can Amanda comfort her, but Jayson Spencer’s wife, Emily Stearn. She immediately liked Emily Stearn because she was like her sister, Doris Stearns.
Rose is delighted with her mother, who is getting closer to her father’s family. Now her mother has a new friend. After so many years, she lost her friends because she was too busy caring for her daughter while her friends were busy pursuing their careers. Gradually, one by one, all her college friends disappeared from her mother’s life.
This morning Molly Wilson was out of the hospital.
Even though Molly Wilson is now officially the wife of Nicholas Spencer, Rose wants her mother to stay one night in Little Heaven. It’s the house she bought for her mother before her father takes her into the Spencers’ place as his wife. Tomorrow morning, they will hold a wedding reception there.
The family released no official announcement of Nicholas Spencer’s marriage. The wedding will only be attended by family members.
